US BANS CHINESE MADE HUMANOID ROBOTS

The United States - or the Trump administration, to be more precise - has placed an import ban on Chinese-made Humanoid Robots. This should especially affect Unitree - the China based company that recently launched its consumer Humanoid Robots in the US. (link to article)

The interrelating economic dynamics in play must be considered, here - and the Chinese robot ban is far from a victory in the more fundamental work to ban Humanoid Robots, generally. However, this is evidence at least that the power mechanisms of our society can, in fact, create boundaries with these dubious machines. And that is encouraging.
